Georgia 27 – 13 Tennessee
Georgia (27-13) wins against Tennessee!
Despite 2 field goals by McGrath and 1 touchdown by Wright, the Volunteers lost for the first time this season against the hungry Bulldogs, still undefeated.
On the Georgia side, Bennett scored 257 yards and 2 touchdowns while Hooker suffered 1 interception for Tennessee.
With 3 touchdowns and 2 field goals, Georgia beats a Tennessee team that was not up to the challenge.
Overall, the Volunteers are now 8-1 and the Bulldogs are 9-0.
Ohio State 21 – 7 Northwestern
Logical win (21-7) for the Buckeyes against the Wildcats!
Northwestern led at the beginning of the game with a touchdown by Hull!
However, beating the Buckeyes is never an easy task.
Ohio State scored 3 touchdowns, two by Williams and one by Egbuka.
Stroud, however, had a game without a touchdown for Ohio State.
Sullivan, Northwestern’s quarterback, recorded only 79 yards.
Overall, the Buckeyes are 9-0 and the Wildcats are 1-8!
LSU 32 – 31 Alabama
LSU wins by one point (32-31) against Alabama!
After a first quarter (0-0) where both teams stayed silent, the score was close until the end of the game.
Bama must regret the loss in the overtime.
Daniels scored a touchdown for the Tigers to defeat the Crimson Tide.
The quarterback, Young, had a complete game with 328 yards and 1 touchdown.
In fact, at the end of the fourth quarter, the two teams were tied. (24-24). Bama had the ball first and scored on their opening possession. The Tigers went down and scored but elected to go for two and the win. Daniels rolled out and hit tight end, Mason Taylor, by the pilon to give the Tigers the walk off victory!
Alabama and LSU are now 7-2!
