What a crazy weekend in the NHL!
Heavy defeat for the Canadiens, superb victory for the Oilers!
The Leafs defeated the Senators in a close game.
However, the big surprise was the Flames’ huge win against the Coyotes!

Capitals 8 – 4 Canadiens
The Canadiens lost (4-8) against the Capitals!
Poehling scored twice, Suzuki and Evans each got one but despite their goals they could not save the Canadiens.
The Capitals with the pair Mantha-Hathaway at home were too much for the Canadiens to handle.
Overall, the Canadiens record is 20-45-11 on the season.
Oilers 4 – 0 Golden Knights
A great win (4-0) for the Oilers against the Golden Knights!
Russell opened the scoring in the first period and gave the Oilers the lead!
While the second period was quiet and scoreless, the Oilers extended their lead in the third period with goals from Ceci, Foegele and Nugent-Hopkins!
The Oilers now have a record 44-26-6 on the season.
Maple Leafs 5 – 4 Senators
A close clash for the battle of Ontario saw the Leafs beat (5-4) the Senators!
In the first period, Stutzle and Del Zotto got theSenators off to a quick start.
In the second period, Marner scored twice and woke up the Leafs!
Goals by Bunting, Giordano and Clifford allowed the Leafs to defeat the Senators in overtime.
Overall, the Maple Leafs are 49-20-6 and the Senators are 28-40-7.
Flames 9 – 1 Coyotes
What an incredible victory for the Flames (9-1) against the Coyotes!
Tkachuk and Dube both scored a pair and goals from Lindholm, Gaudreau, Mangiapane and Coleman proved to be too much for Arizona.
Overall, the Flames are 46-20-9!
Maple Leafs 4 – 2 Islanders
Leafs win (4-2) against the Islanders!
Marner opened the scoring for the Leafs in the first period.
Engvall and Nylander extended the lead in the second period.
Kampf closed out the show with a beautiful goal in the final frame.
Overall, the Maple Leafs are 50-20-6 and close out the weekend with 4 points.
